Actress Park Ji-hyun offered empathy and excitement through See You at Work Tomorrow!
Park Ji-hyun delivered a passionate performance as Cha Ji-yoon, an efficient worker in the DA division at Saeum Electronics, in the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama See You at Work Tomorrow! (written by Kim Kyung-min, directed by Jo Eun-sol, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Studio Dragon·KROSS Pictures), which concluded on the 28th.
Park Ji-hyun, portraying Cha Ji-yoon, an office worker who dreams of leaving work every day, formed a bond with modern viewers through a delicate performance that highlighted nuanced expression. She carefully built the narrative by portraying, with fine emotional lines, the moment she dares to love again in the face of relationships that do not go as planned, regains passion for work and pursues her dreams, and her attempt to mediate between parents whose relationship has deteriorated to the point of considering legal separation completed a character who, different from at work, fulfills the role of a daughter.
Park Ji-hyun naturally moved through a range of emotions contained within one character—the joys and sorrows of everyday office workers, the excitement and hesitation before love, and tender feelings for family—completing the three-dimensional character of Cha Ji-yoon.
