Nam Gyuri denied reports that she cut ties with the members of SeeYa.
On the 29th, a video titled "SeeYa, changing music genres and vocal styles to follow trends, the Udir of the music industry" was posted on the YouTube channel Noback Tak Jae-hoon.
In March 2024 Nam Gyuri appeared on Noback Tak Jae-hoon and candidly admitted that she did not keep in close contact with the SeeYa members.
That day, when Nam Gyuri returned to appear again after the reunion with the members, Tak Jae-Hoon said, "When Nam Gyuri appeared on Noback last time, she said she had cut ties with the members." Nam Gyuri corrected him, saying, "No, I didn't cut ties. We are close now."
Then Tak Jae-Hoon asked, "How are we supposed to take this, Detective Shin?" and Shin Gyu-jin pressed, "So because you were worried about what you said then, did you voluntarily come forward to show 'no, we are close and getting along'?"
Nam Gyuri replied, "It's not that. It was to show 'we've come together now.'" But when Shin Gyu-jin asked, "So you aren't just close?" she glared and laughed, saying, "We're close and we're reunited. Isn't that what that means?"
SeeYa reunited after 15 years. Asked what prompted them to meet again, Lee Bo-ram said, "My sister called me to borrow an MR track so she did it really casually."
Nam Gyuri recalled, "I had to perform at a corporate event. They asked me to sing two SeeYa songs. While working on it I just couldn't get it together so I called."
Tak Jae-Hoon asked, "Actually you two must have seen Gyuri on TV often. What did you think — 'She's working hard, struggling'?" Lee Bo-ram answered, "In a way, yes. We were all really struggling." She added candidly, "I wondered if this was the right job for me. Because of that worry I tried to quit several times."
