Actor Han Da-gam broke into a sweat after experiencing real-life son parenting.
On the 29th, KBS2 'The Return of SUPERMAN' depicted Jeong I-rang and Hwang Bo-ra visiting the home of Han Da-gam, a soon-to-be mother who became pregnant for the first time at 47.
That day, Jeong I-rang and Hwang Bo-ra briefly left their sons Aaron and Woo-in alone to retrieve a phone they had left in the car. In response, Han Da-gam said "I once dreamed of becoming a kindergarten teacher and I tend to dote on babies, so actually I was fully prepared," expressing confidence.
But as soon as Hwang Bo-ra disappeared, his son Woo-in burst into tears. Han Da-gam tried to persuade him even using a dinosaur balloon, but it didn't work, and Jeong I-rang's son Aaron passed along a tip, saying "He likes it if you play phone videos." Pondering which video to play, Han Da-gam chose Three Little Bears, but Woo-in did not stop crying.
Continuing in the hallway where his mother had disappeared, Han Da-gam lured Woo-in into the living room with the lie "Mom is over there," but when the mother wasn't there Woo-in only sobbed more. Eventually, following Aaron's advice, they played the "Baby Shark" video and Woo-in calmed down, prompting Hwang Bo-ra to marvel, "Baby Shark is this powerful."
But when he kept watching only phone videos she worried, "What do we do about this? Can't we make him stop? You show me. Should we try pausing it?" and Aaron said, "Then he cries more. Babies concentrate." At that, Han Da-gam broke into a sweat, asking, "Where did the phone go, where did mom take it?"
She said, "Wasn't it an hour, soothing him at the door, bringing him here, giving him a dinosaur and candy? I thought I did an hour, but it was only 15 minutes?" and was surprised. She added, "I still have a long way to go. It was harder than I thought. It felt more difficult than when I film for 24 hours straight through the night. I need to build up a lot of stamina. So now I understand why people keep saying stamina, stamina. Parenting is stamina," and nodded.
A short time later Jeong I-rang and Hwang Bo-ra returned, and Han Da-gam said, "At restaurants I would watch babies' videos being played and wonder 'why do mothers play videos like this,' but seeing Woo-in today, I realize I can't not play them," sharing her realization.
But the crisis didn't end there. Woo-in knocked over a potted plant placed in the hallway in front of the entrance to Han Da-gam's home. Faced with the house quickly turned to wreckage, Han Da-gam clicked her tongue and said, "Knocked over the plant? That's unimaginable to me. He's a baby so you can't really scold him."
She then said, "Everything is arranged at the child's eye level—furniture and everything. I thought I could just make some adjustments, but that's impossible. I feel like I have to remove all the furniture and household items," and expressed affection for her unborn child, saying, "Chalteok, from now on fill your life with the things you want to do and play with."
