Production company TEO will distribute A24's new film The Drama, starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson.
TEO said it has signed a strategic partnership with film distributor Waterhole Company and is entering the film distribution business. Waterhole Company is a film company that has invested in and distributed a wide range of works such as Everything Everywhere All at Once, Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- the Movie: Mugen Train, Whiplash, Love Letter, Decision to Leave, Broker and Confidential Assignment 2.
Through this collaboration, TEO expands its business scope beyond existing content production to film distribution, further strengthening its content competitiveness. The first project of the new content universe the two companies will create together is The Drama, which is scheduled to open domestically in September.
The Drama is a romance thriller that depicts how a perfectly planned wedding week descends into unpredictable chaos as a couple about to be married reveal pasts they had kept from each other. Zendaya and Robert Pattinson star, and the film is drawing attention as a 2026 anticipated release from global studio A24, which presented Backrooms and Marty Supreme.
Starting with this film distribution, TEO is expanding its content domain from variety shows to films and embarking on a new challenge. This also aligns with the direction of the recently announced rebranding slogan SPARK IT.
TEO, founded by producer Kim Tae-ho, has demonstrated differentiated production capability by presenting a variety of content that crosses genres and platforms, including World Dice Tour, The Devil's Plan series, Physical: 100, Good Day, and Salon Drip.
Producer Kim Tae-ho said TEO's pursued content is every valuable moment the public experiences beyond the video on the screen, and added that it is TEO's pleasant evolution to break the boundaries between long-form and short-form, variety and film, and always breathe a little closer with those who love content.
Meanwhile, TEO is currently broadcasting the ENA variety show The Prince and the Pauper, and plans to release various content within the year, including Jimssalavium, Good Day 2, World Dice Tour 4 and The Devil's Plan 3.
