Singer Kim Jong Kook, who held a private wedding, strongly recommended marriage.

Yu Jae-seok mentioned Kim Jong Kook's wedding in this video. Kim Jong Kook said, "It hasn't been a year yet. There's one or two months left until a year." He married a non-celebrity wife at a location in Seoul on Sept. 5 last year.
Yu Jae-seok said, "I also went to the wedding hall and celebrated, but it was really secret..." and noted, "It's excessive. It's not that much, why do that?" Kim Jong Kook drew attention in the past for holding his wedding very secretively after the surprise wedding announcement.
In response, Kim Jong Kook said frankly, "You might think that. I attended a lot of weddings since '95. Honestly, I can't even talk about how much I spent on congratulatory money," and said, "I hardly ever got it back. I took all of that into account."
Also in this video, Kim Jong Kook's close friend, divorce lawyer Park Min-chul, made a surprise appearance and drew attention. Yu Jae-seok asked Kim Jong Kook, "Do you actively recommend marriage to people around you?" and Kim Jong Kook answered immediately, "Of course."
Yu Jae-seok and Kim Jong Kook have maintained a close relationship while working together on various variety shows. Yu Jae-seok said, "It was 25 years ago that we did 'Donggyeo-dongnak'," and Kim Jong Kook revealed with a laugh, "Back then you would make people do things. You would have each person do impressions or something. When it was my turn, looking at Jae-seok hyung, if he nodded, without lying he would pass me along."
