BTS has set the long-run engine for 'Normal (NORMAL)' in motion.
BIGHIT Music on Aug. 29 said, "According to the latest chart released by Billboard on Aug. 1, BTS's fifth studio album ARIRANG's track 'Normal' re-entered the main song chart, the Hot 100, at No. 33."
Thus, "Normal" entered that chart at No. 41 on April 4 and remained on the chart for three weeks, and after the music video and the Korean track were released on the 17th it regained popularity and assumed a "long-run" posture.
"Normal" also set its personal best by reaching No. 4 on the Global 200 and ranked No. 2 on Global (excluding the U.S.). Title track "Swim (SWIM)" also reached No. 10 and No. 5 on those respective charts, continuing its long-term success.
In addition, the fifth studio album ARIRANG also sat at No. 9 on the main album chart, the Billboard 200, rising 17 spots from the previous week. ARIRANG previously spent 13 weeks in the Billboard 200 top 10, setting the record for the longest-charting album by a Korean singer.
BTS performed at the halftime show of the 2026 FIFA World Cup North, Central America and Caribbean final on the 19th (local time), and will hold North American tour dates at MetLife Stadium in New York on Aug. 1-2.
