Mom Lee Jung-eun and daughters Kong Hyojin, Park So-dam and Lee Yeon deliver a killer synergy.
On the 29th, the film 'Gyeongju trip' (written and directed by Kim Mi-jo, presented by Lotte Entertainment, Michigan Venture Capital Co., distributed by Lotte Entertainment, produced by Studio Hi-Five, co-produced by Euphoria ENT) released four character posters and a suspicious family video that offers a glimpse of their personalities.
'Gyeongju trip' is a family revenge drama about four mother-and-daughter trio who, after eight years of waiting for the youngest daughter Gyeongju who did not return from a school trip, set out on a "killer" trip, and it is scheduled to open on Aug. 26.
The newly released posters grab attention with the four mothers' distinct charms as they drive straight toward revenge and with striking copy. First, Ok-sil (played by Lee Jung-eun), the mother with a resolute gaze filled with firm will, reveals a vengeful determination over the loss of her child and a strength to protect her daughters with the firm line "Everyone says it was something my mother did alone."
The eldest, Jang-ju (played by Kong Hyojin), appears as a reliable aide who stands by her mother unconditionally with the copy "What logic is needed in family matters?"
Next, the second, Young-ju (played by Park So-dam), draws a line with the copy "I said I'd just make the plan and bow out," showing the face of a cool strategist who sets the stage, while the third, Dong-ju (played by Lee Yeon), captured with a surprised expression and the copy "Isn't she really dead?", shows an action-oriented character who will roam the scene without hesitation.
In the suspicious family video released along with this, the personalities of the four mothers, who set out on a "killer" trip after eight years of waiting, are revealed. To clear the youngest Gyeongju's injustice, centered on the mother Lee Jung-eun, the aide eldest Kong Hyojin, strategist second Park So-dam and action-driven third Lee Yeon are expected to show a realistic, genuine chemistry.
