'I'm SOLO' season 32 contestants Young-ja and Young-chul finalized their relationship.
On the 29th episode of the ENA·SBS Plus variety show 'I'm SOLO' (hereafter "I'm SOLO"), the 'divorced special' featured season 32 contestants Young-ja and Young-chul on a super date.
That day, in an awkward atmosphere, Young-chul complimented her appearance, saying, "Young-ja, seeing you like this, you look pretty." Young-ja replied, "My appearance didn't even come out half as well," and Young-chul winced, saying, "You should show more. Because of me, oh dear."
Young-chul only grew comfortable with Young-ja on the last day. Young-ja joked, "Maybe I'm more comfortable because you held my hand once."
Above all, Young-ja confessed, "It's true I had feelings, but something got tangled. I really liked oppa." Young-chul also reflected on past days with regret, saying, "I feel the same."
The two had a candid conversation. Young-ja said, "I feel relieved. Still, my heart hurts. I just hope you meet someone who is really, truly a good person."
Later, in an interview, Young-chul admitted, "Even though I felt apologetic at times, the biggest feeling seemed to be discomfort. It was uncomfortable being together. I felt differences in personality with Young-ja, and from the start to the end I had the sense we wouldn't be compatible."
Young-ja also said, "After sorting out my feelings, today I really speak very well. But now the most important excitement is gone. I don't want to play hot-and-cold anymore. It's too hard to go back and forth, I just want to stick together." With that, the two ended their relationship through the final date.
