Actor Yoon Son-ha, who left for Canada after her son's school violence controversy, is revealing her life in Vancouver.
On the 27th, Yoon Son-ha posted several photos and short videos on her social media with the caption, "When I wake up in the morning, I start with stretching, wash my face and apply sunscreen thoroughly. I drink a cup of warm water and start boiling eggs… that is how my morning begins."
She added, "Even at the campsite, the same ordinary routine I always did," and explained the situation.
The released video showed Yoon Son-ha heading out for camping. Yoon Son-ha appeared to have slept in her car; she took off her eye mask, got up, and immediately stretched to loosen up. Breathing in the clear air, she looked refreshed as if she had rested well.
In the following video, Yoon Son-ha was applying sunscreen as part of her basic skincare. Looking at the camera and smiling brightly, she still retained the appearance she had during her acting career.
Yoon Son-ha also spent a leisurely and peaceful time at the campsite, showing herself making breakfast. She seemed to enjoy it more with her family and completed a delicious breakfast table using ingredients she had brought.
Yoon Son-ha said, "You might say why suffer outside when you have a home to leave behind, but camping certainly has many inconveniences. Still, the healing that nature gives is big enough to make you forget those inconveniences," and shared her life in Vancouver.
Yoon Son-ha earlier halted activities and left for Canada in 2017 after her son was embroiled in a school violence controversy. The incident was reported on SBS' 8 p.m. news, and it was revealed that the perpetrator students, who included the grandson of a conglomerate chairman and the son of a famous entertainer, did not receive punishment, which sparked controversy.
Yoon Son-ha said the news coverage was distorted, but as the fallout grew she apologized, saying, "I bow my head and apologize to the injured child and their family, the school and many others for the incident that occurred during our child's school retreat."
