The winner of the best song award at the global Korean wave festival "2026 K WORLD DREAM AWARDS" has been revealed.
On the 28th, the organizing committee of the "2026 K World Dream Awards" announced that the winners of the "K World Dream best song award" included the group AKMU, I.O.I, aespa, IVE, singer HWASA, and Yena.
This year's best song winners contributed to raising K-pop's stature by achieving outstanding results on major domestic and international music charts. Marking its 10th anniversary this year, the "2026 K World Dream Awards" attributes meaning not only to their achievements but also to the efforts and dedication of all those who helped K-pop grow into a global culture over the past decade.
The organizing committee explained, "Under the theme 'everyone who made today's K-pop is a contributor,' we select winners and hold the awards. Rather than pointing to a single person as number one, the philosophy of this ceremony is that artists, producers, staff and all involved who have led K-pop's growth from their respective positions should be applauded together."
They added, "We aim to be a festival of unity that celebrates the fact that today's K-pop was made by everyone together, conveying that not only the artists who received the spotlight on stage but also the many people who supported the K-pop industry behind the scenes made the current K-pop possible."
Meanwhile, the "2026 K WORLD DREAM AWARDS" will be held on Aug. 27 at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi.
