Broadcaster Yoo Byungjae worked to get a shoutout from director Na Hong-jin of the film "Hope" and finally received a response. However, it was not the reaction Yoo Byungjae had hoped for.
On the 27th, Yoo Byungjae posted on his personal social media, "Hope is fun.."
This was a post he uploaded after earlier that same day Jeongguk posted the same line on social media and director Na Hong-jin quickly regrimed it, and he wanted to receive a shoutout too.
However, director Na Hong-jin only regrimed Jeongguk's post and did not give much reaction to Yoo Byungjae. In response, on the 28th Yoo Byungjae additionally posted "Are you sleeping". He was still waiting for director Na Hong-jin's regrim.
Seeing this, director Na Hong-jin commented on Yoo Byungjae's social media, "I'm trying to sleep.. people keep waking me up because of Byungjae" and asked, "What can I do for you?"
Director Na Hong-jin, who had quickly regrimed Jeongguk's social media, asked Yoo Byungjae what he wanted, and netizens who saw this reacted with comments such as "So cold, so cold", "Byungjae, hurry and make a request", "Isn't it fair if there's no reason?", "Huge temperature difference", "He replied but.. is that good?", "Really funny", "That's too much", and "Don't talk to him, just regrim" which drew laughter.
Meanwhile, on that day Yoo Byungjae uploaded a video to his YouTube channel titled "[Spoiler alert] I also paid 15,000 won" analyzing matters related to the film "Hope." In the video, Yoo Byungjae appeared to have joined the "Hopchinja" fans of the film "Hope."
The film "Hope" begins with Beom-seok, the head of the Hopo Port branch office located in the demilitarized zone, receiving word from local youths that a tiger has appeared, and as the whole village goes on alert he faces an unbelievable reality. The film recently surpassed a cumulative audience of 3.5 million, driving its box office success.
