Singer VV revealed why she once named Yang Se-hyung as her ideal type and said her ideal type has now changed.
On the 30th, the MBC variety show Where is My Home (directed by Jeong Da-hee, Nam You Joung, Jang Hyo-jong, Kim Yu-jin) will air a special episode touring homes for "sang-gyeong-reo," people who moved up to Seoul with dreams.
On that episode, VV from Changwon, Joo Woo-jae, and Kim Dae-ho from Yangpyeong appear to share their experiences living in Seoul and, from the perspective of sang-gyeong-reo, look around every corner of the homes.
Before the full inspection, VV candidly revealed why she used to name Yang Se-hyung as her ideal type. She said, "I like a decent man, and he cooks well and keeps house well," which made Yang Se-hyung shy.
But the warm atmosphere lasted only briefly; VV surprised everyone by confessing, "My ideal type has changed now," causing a stir on set. Curiosity grew about who VV's new ideal type might be.
The three then visit a duplex officetel of a Busan-born creator in his fourth year living in Seoul. The homeowner is the creator "Sinbaddu," who is loved for Busan dialect content. As soon as he opened the door, he greeted the hosts with his characteristic high energy and cleverly used dialect to explain cultural differences between Seoul and Busan, building rapport.
Watching this, VV said, "I know this!" and strongly agreed, then naturally joined the skit and showcased a perfect Busan dialect rhythm, turning the set into a sea of laughter.
Memories of moving to Seoul also followed. Busan native Kim Sook recalled, "In the provinces, people think Seoul is a dangerous place, so when you first come to Seoul you look for relatives or acquaintances' homes first," and Jang Dong-min mentioned the 'Seoul ghost stories' circulating at the time, saying, "There was even a rumor that taxis would deliberately take long routes if you spoke in dialect."
In response, Kim Sook revealed that she used her own special survival know-how to avoid taxi overcharging, which reportedly made everyone burst into laughter.
