'The group Card, which blazed a challenging path as a "mixed-gender group" and set a distinctive milestone in the K-pop scene, has made a glamorous return equipped with their specialty, the "mumbaton" sound.
Card on the 28th at 6 p.m. released the full tracks of their first full-length album Where To Now? (Part.2) : NOWHERE (Where To Now? (Part.2) NOWHERE) and the title track "Back To Life" music video through various music sites.
This new release is their last album concluding the first act at their longtime agency DSP Media Co. and their first full-length album. Even before a brief pause, they chose their roots, "mumbaton," instead of sorrow, completing the most glamorous and "Card-like" finale.
Card's new release Where To Now? (Part.2) : NOWHERE continues from their seventh mini album released last August and unravels the truths and answers encountered after much wandering. It conveys that the time of being "nowhere" (NOWHERE) they wandered without direction and the finally reached "now, here" (NOW HERE) was their shining destination.
The title track "Back To Life" is a mumbaton-based dancehall genre that stylishly reinterprets tropical sounds in Card's own way. A heavy, penetrating bass and woodwind sounds blend over refreshing synthesizers to unleash explosive energy.
Member BM composed the song, and all members participated in writing the lyrics, delivering a tender message of comfort that they will always be a place fans who have supported them for a long time can lean on.
