HYBE exceeded 1 trillion won in quarterly sales for the first time. Operating profit also reached an all-time high.
HYBE said on the 28th that "it achieved 1.45 trillion won in sales and 170.9 billion won in operating profit for the second quarter of 2026."
This is the largest quarterly sales and operating profit in HYBE's history, and it is the first time HYBE's quarterly sales exceeded 1 trillion won and operating profit exceeded 100 billion won. With this, HYBE surpassed 2 trillion won in half-year sales for the first time.
In particular, BTS, which began its world tour in April, served as the driving force behind second-quarter results, proving its solid power. According to global music data analytics firm Luminate, BTS's full-group comeback album, the fifth studio album "ARIRANG," ranked No. 1 in vinyl and CD album sales in the United States.
Also, in each region where BTS's world tour is held, it has generated large-scale economic effects, coining the new term "BTS nomics."
Not only BTS but also consecutive comebacks and world tours by artists under HYBE labels led to strength in direct participation revenue. Artists' live performance segment recorded 647.7 billion won, the music album segment recorded 326.8 billion won in sales, and indirect participation revenue also reached an all-time high at 310.6 billion won.
In the first half of this year, including BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, &TEAM, BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS, and CORTIS each sold more than 1 million albums, and KATSEYE continues its unprecedented growth in the global music market.
