Actor Kim Chae-eun joins tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama My Bias, My Boss, injecting taut tension into the series.
My Bias, My Boss, adapted from the popular webtoon of the same name, is a story about the rookie employee Nam Da-reum (Kim Hye Jun) who joins the company to meet her "bias" and experiences a chaotic office romance. In the drama, Kim Chae-eun plays Seo Hye-su, an assistant manager responsible for core practical duties in the marketing team of the fashion start - up Apello, delivering a passionate performance.
Seo Hye-su is a cool-headed ace who strictly defends her position, but she is a layered character who shows unexpected vulnerabilities in front of Kang Ha-gi (Kang Hoon), whom she has long harbored feelings for. In particular, she will heighten the drama's immersion by constantly taking a sharp confrontational stance to keep rookie Nam Da-reum in check. Kim Chae-eun is expected to convincingly portray Seo Hye-su's complex emotions—jealousy, anxiety and affection—through her characteristically detailed acting.
Previously, Kim Chae-eun proved her solid ability to embody characters across genres through numerous works such as the dramas I openly dream of Cinderella and Taxi Driver 2, and expectations are rising for the new acting transformation she will show in this office drama.
Meanwhile, Kim Chae-eun's sparkling performance is anticipated in tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama My Bias, My Boss, which premieres on Aug. 3 at 8:45 p.m.
