Broadcaster Seo Dong-ju mentioned her husband's escape from the Korean stock market.
On the 28th, Seo Dong-ju shared a screenshot of KakaoTalk messages with her husband on her personal social media.
In the revealed photo, Seo Dong-ju said, "He only buys ETFs with 500,000 won each. KOSPI and Nasdaq. I will do individual stocks. I think we should split this," and her husband replied, "I don't want to trade stocks anymore ㅠㅠ You do it, I'll give you the money."
When Seo Dong-ju saw the reply and laughed, her husband said, "I'm done for," and added, "Comrade, I'm done for, you go ahead.. live splendidly in my place."
Seeing this, Seo Dong-ju sighed, "Today my husband decided to leave this warlike Korean stock market," and said, "I wonder if things will get better when the earnings announcement comes ㅜㅜ."
Earlier, Seo Dong-ju appeared on a YouTube channel and confessed that she bought SK hynix shares at 2,590,000 won but lowered the average purchase price to 2,510,000 won through additional purchases.
However, that day SK hynix closed the market at around 1,550,000 won, down 14.2% from the previous trading day. Compared to this, Seo Dong-ju's estimated loss rate is about 38.25%.
Meanwhile, Seo Dong-ju is the daughter of the late Seo Se-won and Seo Jeong-hee and married a non-celebrity who is four years younger than her last June. Seo Dong-ju's husband is known to be a former manager of Jang Seongkyu.
