Actor Kim Hye Jun shared her thoughts on taking on the romantic comedy genre for the first time in her debut.
On the afternoon of the 28th, the online production presentation for tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama My Bias, My Boss was held via live streaming. Director Park Ji-hyun and actors Kang Hoon, Kim Hye Jun and Cha Woomin attended the presentation and spoke.
That day MC Park Kyung-rim asked Kim Hye Jun "How do you feel being between CEO Kang Gi and brother Chani right now?", and Kim Hye Jun smiled and said "I can't believe a day like this has come to me, I'm so happy."
In the drama Kim Hye Jun plays Nam Da-reum, a newcomer in Apello's marketing team and a fan of E-Chan, and she will share romantic chemistry with Kang Hoon, who plays Kang Gi, and Cha Woomin, who plays E-Chan.
When asked for her thoughts, Kim Hye Jun said "I didn't expect a day like this to come. I had always wanted to try rom-com at least once, but when it came time to do it I felt overwhelmed and a lot of pressure. It's a side of me I hadn't shown before. I thought I needed to prepare more, but thanks to the two actors and the director I think I did my best, so I have no regrets," adding, "I gathered as much of my lovable charm as possible," raising expectations.
Meanwhile, My Bias, My Boss will premiere on Aug. 3 at 8:45 p.m.
