Singer and broadcaster Lee Ji Hye decided to move from her 80-pyeong Apgujeong home to a 49-pyeong, 40-year-old APT., and despite a seven-week major renovation there was no controversy over causing inconvenience.
On the 27th, the YouTube channel "밉지 않은 관종언니" posted a video titled "First reveal of the 40-pyeong house Lee Ji Hye completely revamped after moving (40-year-old APT.)."
That day Lee Ji Hye said, "Everyone, you know I'm moving, right?" and "I lost my composure more than once preparing for the move over the past few months, but I can finally reveal it," as she showed her new home.
The place Lee Ji Hye is moving to is a 49-pyeong, 40-year-old APT., and Lee Ji Hye said she carried out about seven weeks of remodeling work for actual residence. She said, "If I lived in an 80-pyeong place, this is 40-pyeong," and added, "The floor area has decreased, but if I furnish it efficiently it should be fine," expressing satisfaction.
In particular, during the remodeling process the bathroom was demolished and a washbasin was installed, attracting attention. Lee Ji Hye said, "We reported to both the district office and the APT. and proceeded after receiving permission."
The interior manager explained, "Because this is an old house, we wanted to make it sturdy and safe rather than spend more on aesthetics. When changing the structure, we insisted on doing it properly within the bounds of the law."
The interior manager also said, "What I am really thankful for is that the people around were all very agreeable," and Lee Ji Hye expressed gratitude, saying, "What I am very grateful for is that the residents must have been really inconvenienced. We tried to be careful, but it was inevitably noisy and inconvenient. I am very thankful for their great understanding."
Meanwhile, Lee Ji Hye married tax accountant Moon Jae-wan in 2017 and has two daughters.
