The groups BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and CORTIS swept the 2026 music awards, demonstrating the strength of BigHit Music.
Bighit Music artists won nine awards in major categories at the ceremony, including three grand prizes and main awards, at the KMA (KMA Chart Awards) 2026 held at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul on the 25th.
BTS won "album of the year," one of the grand prizes, for their fifth studio album released in March, "Arirang (ARIRANG)." TOMORROW X TOGETHER won "artist of the year," and CORTIS won "record of the year" for their second mini album "GREENGREEN." With this, Bighit Music artists proved their strength by winning three of the four grand prize categories.
In addition, the three teams also won the main award "Ultimate 12," and TOMORROW X TOGETHER won "best popular song," "best popular male group," and member Yeonjun won "best popular solo male artist," earning five awards. With this, Bighit Music artists grabbed a total of nine trophies at KMA 2026, including grand prizes.
They have shown formidable strength this year by dominating albums, global charts and award ceremonies. Starting with BTS this year, followed by TOMORROW X TOGETHER and CORTIS, they have proven their popularity by surpassing cumulative album sales of 10 million copies.
They continue their global popularity by simultaneously topping the U.S. Billboard main album chart "Billboard 200" and the main song chart "Hot 100." CORTIS, though less than a year since debut, showed unusual growth by appearing on the "Billboard 200" for 10 consecutive weeks.
With BTS's solid presence, TOMORROW X TOGETHER's steady popularity and CORTIS's overwhelming rise, Bighit Music is asserting itself as a "global top label."
