Actor Kang Hoon returned to 'Running Man' and humorously put an end to the "gu-sum" with Ji Ye-eun, drawing laughs.
On the 26th broadcast of the SBS variety show 'Running Man', Kang Hoon, who returned as a temporary member after seven months, was shown reuniting with the members.
From his entrance Kang Hoon greeted confidently, saying "I'm not a rookie," and seeing this, Kim Jong Kook warned, "Why are you acting so cocky?" and showcased their rivalry chemistry.
Then Kim Jong Kook teased, saying "Kang Hoon's manner of speaking has become rude," and Kang Hoon fired back, "Is it because I didn't go out for soccer?" which made people laugh. Kim Jong Kook's resentment, who used to look after him as a beloved younger brother, also exploded.
What drew the most attention was the reunion with Ji Ye-eun. Ji Ye-eun, who once created a 'dimple couple' flirtatious atmosphere, apologized first as soon as she saw Kang Hoon, saying "Oppa, I'm sorry," and Kang Hoon mentioned recent dating rumors between Ji Ye-eun and dancer Vata, saying "I saw it in an article," which stirred the set. Blushing, Ji Ye-eun joked, "I think I liked him... that's how it turned out," and Kang Hoon replied, "It's fine. It was very good news. I clapped while reading the article," which provoked roars of laughter.
Watching this, Kim Jong Kook also chimed in, "Even so, I heard Kang Hoon said he can appear comfortably on 'Running Man' now," adding to the laughter.
Even on the bus, Kang Hoon joked, "I won't sit next to Ye-eun. She played with me," and Ji Ye-eun retorted, "I don't want to sit next to oppa either," continuing their bickering chemistry.
Also, Kang Hoon said, "Vata's dancing looked really attractive," and added, "I wondered what kind of charm there was," prompting everyone to burst into laughter, asking, "Did you all just watch from afar?" Ji Ye-eun mischievously teased, "You should have treated it well when you had the chance."
When the question came up, "What if Kang Hoon had liked you?" Kang Hoon firmly drew the line, saying, "No, that would never happen," turning the studio into a sea of laughter.
