Singer and broadcaster Kangnam talked about married life with his wife, Lee Sang-hwa.
On the 27th, SBS's "Ani Geunde Jinjja" (hereafter "A근진") featured Ko Jun-hee, Kangnam and Kim Min as guests, drawing attention with their frank and candid conversation.
That day, Kangnam was asked, as someone experienced in marriage, whether he would recommend marriage. This was because Kim Min said "I've tried everything alone" and now wanted to get married.
Kangnam said, "I don't think people should get married just because they desperately want to get married," and "I wasn't going to get married. I had no thought of marriage, but suddenly (Lee Sang-hwa) appeared and I thought 'I should get married,' so I got married."
Kangnam said he first met Lee Sang-hwa on the 2018 "Law of the Jungle," recalling, "After the shoot ended we had several dinners with the production team, and the staff naturally created the atmosphere."
He recalled that when he felt attracted to Lee Sang-hwa, "it was just after the Olympics. Lee Sang-hwa was wearing a sleeveless top and walking by; her back muscles were rippling. Our faces and eyes met among the muscles and I thought 'I'm going to get married.'"
Kangnam added, "When I asked Lee Sang-hwa, she said she felt around that time that she would marry me," and jokingly said that his mother tried to dissuade Lee Sang-hwa before the marriage.
Meanwhile, Kangnam said, "In the early days of marriage we had marital fights. When my wife got angry an aura came over her and even the dogs ran away. One day during a fight I got up to cool off, and Lee Sang-hwa told me 'Sit!' I sat down and the dog sat beside me, too," and after acknowledging that the dog shared the same rank, their fights became less frequent, drawing laughter.
Hearing this, Tak Jae-Hoon asked if he would go to the "Law of the Jungle" set again if he were reborn, and Kangnam asserted, "I would never go to the jungle," adding to the laughter.
