"Hope" Zo In-sung revealed a witty anecdote about Michael Fassbender.
On the afternoon of the 24th, a special GV featuring lead actor Zo In-sung and webtoon author Kang Full was held at Megabox COEX in Seoul. The two worked together on the 2023 Korea-style superpowered superhero series on Disney+, "Moving", and recently began filming season 2.
Zo In-sung met Hollywood actor Michael Fassbender for the first time on this project, saying, "We filmed together during motion capture," and "Actually I was so happy I couldn't talk much. I was so happy that I couldn't speak English that day. (laughs) How frustrating... I should have been appropriately happy," he joked, drawing laughter.
Director Baek Eun-ha said, "Originally Seong-gi (played by Zo In-sung) and Mabeyo (played by Michael Fassbender) don't have lines together," and Zo In-sung laughed, "That's right. Still, we liked each other a lot."
Earlier, Zo In-sung also mentioned Michael Fassbender in an interview with OSEN, saying, "When I was filming, Fassbender wasn't there, and we matched our gazes with doll-like things. At that time a junior actor stood in front and matched the gaze," and explained, "Hollywood actors like Michael Fassbender came to the set and finished all their filming. Afterwards they came onto the set to stand together once to see how it would feel. We did one take together with motion capture, and then completed the final compositing."
Meanwhile, "Hope" surpassed 3 million in 11 days and has held the box office No. 1 spot for two consecutive weeks. It is currently approaching 3.5 million. <
