Actress Min Do-hee of "My Little Old Boy" honestly opened up about the emotional hardship she endured during a long hiatus.
On the afternoon of the 26th, the SBS variety show "My Little Old Boy" (hereafter "My Little Old Boy") aired, revealing the daily life of actress Min Do-hee, who was greatly loved for her bold Jeolla dialect in "Reply 1994."
Kim Sung-kyun said, "When she was resting, she would talk with her mother and the mother would worry a lot." Hearing this, Min Do-hee said, "When I was resting I was living with my mother, so actually that must have been hard for both of us," she confessed.
To this, Kim Sung-kyun asked, "Weren't you both trying to read each other's minds? Worried you might hurt one another?" and Min Do-hee recalled a more depressed past than expected, saying, "My mother was probably trying to watch me a lot, and I was too. I really didn't leave my room."
Min Do-hee continued, "(My mother) would normally shout and scold, but knowing my situation and seeing me more depressed than expected, she treated me more cautiously," she said, revealing that her mother was even more careful with her.
Later in the studio, Min Do-hee's mother, asked "What was the hardest part?", replied, "Seeing Do-hee suffer so much. Because there was no work. She didn't even leave her room. Even just watching her was painful," revealing the anguish of watching her daughter and causing sadness.
