BigHit Music said on the 27th, "Jungkook has reached 1.5 billion cumulative streams on Spotify for 'Standing Next to You' as of that day."
With this, Jungkook achieved 1.5 billion streams for the second time in his solo song career. Earlier, Jungkook released the song 'SE7EN (Seven (feat. Latto))' in July 2023, which had already surpassed 1.5 billion cumulative streams on Spotify.
Jungkook's "Standing Next to You" was released in November 2023 and is a song that conveys the message that because our love is deeper than anything, no matter what adversity comes, it will be with you. It was loved for Jungkook's characteristic groovy vocals and explosive energy.
