At 'Immortal Songs,' Forestella member Ko Woo-Rim mentioned his wife Kim Yuna.
On Jan. 25, the KBS 2TV variety show Immortal Songs (abbreviated as Immortal) aired as part two of the 2026 king of kings tournament.
In the earlier first part of the 2026 king of kings tournament, Forestella volunteered for the opening performance. With their song "Changgui," they maximized the appeal of Korean elements and the crossover genre, achieving an astounding four consecutive wins to claim the championship with an all-kill. In addition, they set a new record of seven consecutive king of kings tournament victories, marking the monumental achievement of two all-kill tournament championships.
In part two, the record of Forestella, the winners of part one, was mentioned again, making the part two contestants nervous. When MC Kim Joon-hyun asked, "Is there no one volunteering for the first slot like Forestella in part one?" singer K.WILL replied, "I want to, but if I raise my hand and go out and get knocked out early, the comparison would be too much," eliciting sympathetic laughter.
Arriving late to the talk waiting room after their unbeaten streak, Forestella finally opened up to express their feelings. Jo Min-kyu said, "I am deeply moved. I can't believe it, and I'm sincerely grateful for such a warm reaction. I will work even harder on music going forward."
While Forestella claimed seven consecutive king of kings tournament victories, K.WILL drew attention by appearing in the tournament for the first time in 11 years. In the meantime, he had been sharing updates on his personal YouTube channel by hosting content called "Knowing sister-in-law." K.WILL also expressed his desire for marriage, saying, "It's not that I'm not thinking about marriage, which is why I planned and hosted that kind of program."
In response, Immortal MC Le Chanwon asked the marriage veteran Ko Woo-Rim about the advantages of marriage. Ko Woo-Rim married former figure skater and still-beloved "Queen Yuna," Kim Yuna, and started a family. Ko Woo-Rim said, "The biggest advantage is that when I come home, someone greets me. Having a companion with whom I can ask anything so freely and consult together is the best."
At that moment K.WILL said to Ko Woo-Rim, "Let's talk about deeper matters on 'Knowing sister-in-law'," revealing his desire to book not only Ko Woo-Rim but also his wife Kim Yuna for 'Knowing sister-in-law.' When the Immortal hosts asked him, "Why are you soliciting guests here?" K.WILL added, "You have no idea how pleased I was," which drew more laughter.
In fact, the day before the Immortal tournament recording was also Ko Woo-Rim's birthday. Regarding his wife Kim Yuna's birthday care, he said, "When it's our birthday, we make seaweed soup for each other." K.WILL once again added, "Let's really talk about that on 'Knowing sister-in-law,'" prompting another round of laughter.<
