"Manager Kim" successfully concluded, Son Naeun
Son Naeun on the 26th, through her agency J.Wide Company, shared her thoughts on the ending of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Manager Kim" (written by Nam Dae-jung, directed by Lee Seung-young and Lee So-eun).
First, Son Naeun spoke about the role of Jung Sang-ah in "Manager Kim," saying, "I am grateful and happy that the genre and character I first challenged were in 'Manager Kim.' The time I ran hard as Sang-ah was a precious period in which I, too, was able to grow one step further."
At the same time, Son Naeun expressed gratitude to the production team of "Manager Kim" and the actors she worked with, and said, "I also thank the many viewers who loved 'Manager Kim.' I will come back with another good work."
In the drama, Son Naeun played Jung Sang-ah, an assistant manager at Sangsaeng Savings Bank where Manager Kim (played by So Jisub) works, and an agent of the special missions bureau. At first, she was a figure who monitored the discharged Manager Kim, and later she helps Manager Kim so that she can protect his daughter Min-ji (played by Seo Sumin).
Especially, Son Naeun drew attention by performing action acting for the first time in this work. She showed a different side by performing not only unarmed action but also gunfire action.
"Manager Kim," which recorded a peak viewership rating of 23.1%, ended its run with episode 10 on the 25th.
