Broadcaster Yu Jae-seok and singer Kim Jong Kook's long-standing connection was revealed.
Cable channel tvN's variety show You Quiz on the Block released a video on the 26th on its official channel titled "Jong Kook and Jae-seok's first meeting! Jong Kook's sidelong glance at rookie Jae-seok's first impression?!"
In this video, Yu Jae-seok revealed an anecdote about having hosted a fan meeting for Turbo, the group Kim Jong Kook belonged to, saying, "I hosted the fan meeting. I actually thought Jong Kook would remember. He said, 'Was that hyung?'"
Kim Jong Kook explained the situation, "I later recognized it from a photo. A fan came and said that Jae-seok had been the MC at a past fan meeting. But that fan also didn't know. They recognized it by looking at the photo. It was like, 'Wait, the MC was Yu Jae-seok.'"
Then Yu Jae-seok candidly said, "To be honest, rather than affection for Turbo... as an MC, it's polite to stay and watch the fan meeting to the end, listen to the songs and then leave." He added honestly, "But the moment I got paid, that was it. I left excitedly," drawing attention.
