The mother of My Little Old Boy actress Min Do-hee has joined as a new "Mobengers".
On the 26th episode of SBS variety show My Little Old Boy (hereinafter 'Miwoose'), Min Do-hee's mother showed off an exceptional wit.
In the past, in the tvN drama Reply 1994, Min Do-hee perfectly pulled off a thick Jeolla dialect performance and gained great popularity. In reality, Min Do-hee is actually from Yeosu, Jeolla.
An interesting conversation followed about how she learned the bold Jeolla swearing and dialect used in the show. When asked whether her mother had taught her the Jeolla swearing directly, her mother honestly answered, "I don't really know either, I received the information from people around me," which sent the studio into laughter.
The mother then went on to reveal their surprising family background in detail. It turned out that the mother herself was from Gyeongsang Province and the husband was from Chungcheong Province. She explained that they were able to speak the Yeosu dialect because they lived in Yeosu due to her husband's job.
