The group ILLIT is making a comeback with a new Japanese song.
Belift Lab Inc. said on the 26th, "ILLIT's second Japanese single, 'I Got Your Back,' will be released as a digital track at 8 p.m. that day."
With this, ILLIT, which officially debuted in Japan last year, will once again stand before fans with a new song. Through this release, they plan to deliver a message of positivity to fans.
ILLIT's new song "I Got Your Back" is a track that contains their characteristic bright and upbeat charm. With a highly addictive hook and polished sound, it offers the consolation "you're not alone" to people whose daily lives are weighed down by anxiety and pressure.
This song, which tells the story of growing girls, is expected to offer consolation and positive energy to ILLIT and their peers.
Notably, the title track features Jeesoo and Momoka from the Japanese girl group HANA, which debuted last year, hinting at synergy with ILLIT. In addition, it will be used as the opening song for the ABEMA original drama "The law of vacation," starring Chae Jong Hyeop, allowing it to reach viewers as well.
ILLIT will hold "ILLIT LIVE 'PRESS START♥︎' in JAPAN" at Toyota Arena Tokyo in Tokyo the same day alongside the release of their new Japanese record.
