The group Cortis surpassed 1 billion cumulative streams on Spotify. It is the highest record among boy groups that debuted within the past five years.
Big Hit Music said on the 26th, "Cortis has surpassed 1,000,060,000 cumulative plays on Spotify as of July 24 with the songs it has released so far."
Since debuting last year, Cortis released the mini album 1 "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES," the mini album 2 "GREENGREEN," and the Sony Pictures Animation insertion track "Mention Me" from "GOAT."
They achieved 900 million cumulative Spotify streams as of the 4th. Then, in less than a month they added 100 million plays, reaching 1 billion streams. This proves Cortis's rising momentum.
With this, Cortis solidified its position as a leading act by recording the most plays among boy groups that debuted within the past five years. It is also notable that this achievement was made with only two albums and 13 songs.
As Cortis's streak of records continues, they will take the stage at the Lollapalooza Chicago music festival in the United States from July 31 to Aug. 1 (local time).
