In the video, Jo Du-pal took time to answer subscribers' questions about the double-eyelid line reoperation that recently became a hot topic after being posted to his SNS story. He honestly revealed everything from the reason he decided to have the surgery to tips for choosing a clinic, the surgical method, expense, swelling and satisfaction, and said that not only did his appearance change but his quality of life improved because the fatigue when opening his eyes was relieved.
Jo Du-pal said the reason he underwent double-eyelid surgery again was, "When I had more flesh in the past, I had no trouble opening my eyes, but after losing weight and aging I felt my eyelids sink or droop. By evening it became very difficult and tiring to open my eyes, so I decided to have it done, and there is also the reason I wanted to lower the high line I had maintained for six years."
Jo Du-pal said he performed the "two-line removal" surgery, which only lowers the double-eyelid line, using a "partial incision," and that the expense was about 5 million won. Jo Du-pal said, "I used to think a famous clinic was always better, but very famous places tended to treat patients sloppily like a factory, so I avoided them. I chose a clinic that looked closely at my eyes and provided sincere consultation, one that specializes in that particular surgery."
He continued, "For procedures like medial canthoplasty or additional canthoplasty, the doctor said the eyes could become smaller and look like buttonholes, so I gave up on them," and explained, "The lateral canthoplasty I had was the last one six years ago, and this time I did not have any canthoplasty performed."
Jo Du-pal said, "My previous eyes had the advantage of looking flashy and larger, but the eyelids were heavy and tiring. My current eyes are a bit smaller than before but they are not heavy when I open them and feel very comfortable," and added, "I am truly very satisfied. Aside from the external aspects, opening my eyes has become so easy that my quality of life has changed."
