Heo Seong-beom spoke out about the violence controversy within "The Bloody Game X."
On the 26th, Heo Seong-beom posted a long message on his personal SNS saying, "Did you enjoy the episode 'Day of plunder'? I stayed up for a long night without sleep for the first time in a while."
That day Heo Seong-beom said, "The minor misunderstandings and damages I may endure are not a big problem compared with your enjoyment. Not every moment that was present at the scene can be conveyed through the broadcast, and since it is, after all, a broadcast program, I think some aspects are unavoidable," he said.
He added, "After watching episode 5 of this Bloody Game X, I thought the production team did their best to protect the cast and to avoid creating an excessively unpleasant atmosphere."
Regarding the situation at the time, Heo Seong-beom recalled, "I was restrained by several people for quite a long time at the scene, and I remained in a state where breathing and movement were difficult, and even after my money and cellphone were gone I experienced a prolonged dangerous standoff without any apparent purpose," he recalled.
Heo Seong-beom explained, "Even in a situation where my neck was being choked, I did not want to lose for the team, and by forcing myself to hold on it seems things became more serious. In my life I had never been that angry at someone. It was also the first time I directly expressed anger. I was somewhat surprised at my own behavior, but it was an experience I could endure."
However, Heo Seong-beom said, "I did have the feeling of wondering whether it was permissible to go this far simply because attack and plunder are the longstanding identity of Bloody Game," and he said, "There have been moments before, but until now people have kept certain lines and have not directly caused injury or harm to one another."
Heo Seong-beom said, "I think anyone can become overimmersed. However, the tepid response that followed moments that could be problematic made the people at the scene even angrier. Of course, after time passed and everyone judged the situation, they exchanged apologies with each other, and I am getting along very well with Kyunghun hyung-nim."
Heo Seong-beom said, "But checking the wounds in the mirror every morning and seeing Chulguhyung's injured hand throughout the filming period made me feel strange no matter what. If there had not been appropriate mediation by Jinho hyung, Yuhyun hyung and Sangmin hyung, one of us might have been hurt more severely."
Heo Seong-beom also said, "I would appreciate it if you could understand that I did not open safe No. 4 in this context. Honestly, both people at the scene and viewers who watched the broadcast asked if I was okay more than I expected, so I was a bit surprised," and he said, "I am very fine. The wounds on my neck and hands have almost healed, and the scar is now barely visible."
Finally, Heo Seong-beom said, "And I am always sincere in every competition. My life principle and belief is to win by skill without harming others or bringing tears to others' eyes during the process," and he said, "So please continue to love and watch Bloody Game X."

Did you enjoy the episode 'Day of plunder'?
I stayed up for a long night without sleep for the first time in a while.
Every time I film the Bloody Game series
I always feel infinite gratitude for the excessive interest and support you send me.
So, I thought the minor misunderstandings and damages I may endure are not a big problem compared with your enjoyment.
Not every moment that was present at the scene can be conveyed through the broadcast, and since it is, after all, a broadcast program, I think some aspects are unavoidable. After watching episode 5 of this Bloody Game X, I also thought it was the production team's best effort to protect the cast and to avoid creating an excessively unpleasant atmosphere.
But when I think about it, the anger of a few people who were furious to the tips of their hair seems to float and appears incomprehensible. So the hostility of the harmed cast looks excessive, and criticisms such as why make a fuss when force is allowed are being aimed at several cast members including me. However, I was restrained by several people for quite a long time at the scene, and I remained in a state where breathing and movement were difficult, and even after my money and cellphone were gone I experienced a prolonged dangerous standoff without any apparent purpose.
That moment continued for much longer at the scene, and in the process flesh and clothes were torn together
causing wounds and scars on my hands, neck and face. Even in a situation where my neck was being choked, I did not want to lose for the team, and by forcing myself to hold on it seems things became more serious. In my life I had never been that angry at someone. It was also the first time I directly expressed anger. I was somewhat surprised at my own behavior, but it was an experience I could endure.
However, because attack and plunder are the longstanding identity of Bloody Game,
just because force is allowed
I had the feeling of wondering whether it was permissible to go this far.
There have been moments before, but until now people have kept certain lines and have not directly caused injury or harm to one another.
I think anyone can become overimmersed. However, the tepid response that followed moments that could be problematic made the people at the scene even angrier.
Of course, after time passed and everyone judged the situation, they exchanged apologies with each other,
I am getting along very well with Kyunghun hyung-nim.
But checking the wounds in the mirror every morning and seeing Chulguhyung's injured hand throughout the filming period made me feel strange no matter what.
If there had not been appropriate mediation by Jinho hyung, Yuhyun hyung and Sangmin hyung, one of us might have been hurt more severely.
I do not think the issue is the rule allowing force or the glass railing. Aren't humans capable of harming others with bare hands? So, to protect everyone at the scene regardless of side and to prevent injury, please do not take lightly the decisions that were made.
I would appreciate it if you could understand that I did not open safe No. 4 in this context.
Honestly, both people at the scene and viewers who watched the broadcast asked if I was okay more than I expected, so I was a bit surprised.
I am very fine. The wounds on my neck and hands have almost healed, and the scar is now barely visible.
And I am always sincere in every competition. My life principle and belief is to win by skill without harming others or bringing tears to others' eyes during the process.
So please continue to love and watch Bloody Game X.
I am always willing to sacrifice for your happiness and enjoyment.
Always be happy. I love you all.
