KickFlip, the group, dominated the stage at Korea's premier summer festival 'Waterbomb Seoul 2026 (WATERBOMB SEOUL 2026)' and proved their worth as the "next-generation stage masters."
KickFlip took the stage at the outdoor Global Stage at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi, on the 24th and shared an intense connection with the audience. For the first time since their debut, KickFlip, included on the 'Waterbomb' lineup, raised the festival's heat even higher with their signature freshness and dynamic energy.
That day KickFlip filled about 30 minutes of running time without gaps with solid live vocals and overwhelming performance. They opened with the dazzling dance break of "Gas On It (개스 온 잇)" and followed with "Electricity (일렉트리시티)," delivering an electrifying thrill to the venue.
They then blew away the heat at once with "someday the sun will explode," which provides a refreshing sense of liberation, and gave the audience fresh excitement with "the first song I sing," which earned them their first No. 1 on a terrestrial music show since debut. They also led roaring cheers by candidly showing the team's cheerful and free-spirited color through "Upside Down," a track from their mini fourth album My First Kick (마이 퍼스트 킥) released last April, and the title track "I want to be annoying to the eye."
Leading the festival atmosphere by casually making eye contact with the audience, KickFlip proved their even further grown stage command through this 'Waterbomb Seoul.' Having successfully completed the Seoul performance, KickFlip will ride the momentum and appear on the 'Waterbomb Busan' stage on Aug. 8 to continue the festival's heat.
