With only two episodes left until its finale, the drama 'Love In Sync' is continuing its global success, captivating viewers in 82 countries around the world.
The Saturday-Sunday drama 'Love In Sync', which is sailing smoothly both online and offline on LifeTime, U+tv mobile and Disney+ (written by Jung Yeon·Kim Seong-rae, directed by Kim Chil-bong), leveraged its fresh "emotion transfer" premise and a romance full of thrills to capture top positions on global OTT charts.
'Love In Sync' is a romantic comedy that depicts the process of a woman who denies empathy and a man who has taken on empathy learning true feelings as their worlds invade each other through a surreal "emotion transfer" incident. Kim Myungsoo plays the capable psychological counselor Cha Eun-hwan, and Kang Min-ah plays the empathy-lacking top star Yoo Ji-an, leading the drama with their fantastic acting chemistry.
This project was led in early investment and global distribution by global media company A+E Korea, which highly valued the work's artistic merit and global scalability. It is currently airing simultaneously in 82 countries around the world, proving the strength of K-romance.
According to global ranking aggregator FlixPatrol, 'Love In Sync' reached as high as No. 2 on the Disney+ series top 10 chart in Japan and has consistently remained in the upper ranks on the Korean chart since its initial release. On Viu's weekly chart for the third week of July, it landed in the top 10 across major Asian markets such as Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. Notably, on the 11th, the day the first broadcast began, it ranked No. 1 on Taiwan's major platform MyVideo chart.
'Love In Sync' now has only two episodes left. In upcoming broadcasts, the truth behind the mysterious incident Yoo Ji-an experienced as a child will be revealed, while Cha Eun-hwan's heartbreaking motivations, as his heart grows yet he paradoxically tries to pull away from her, will add to a tempestuous development.
