Singer Kim Jong Kook first expressed apologies to his future second generation.
Recently, tvN 'You Quiz on the Block' official social account posted a post and a video titled "'New groom who likes marriage, Kim Jong Kook. A word from Jae-seok to Jong-kook's second generation?!"
The video contained scenes from the 'You Quiz on the Block' episode airing on the 29th, and the guest was Kim Jong Kook. Yu Jae-seok said "After getting married, I heard you strongly recommend marriage to those around you," and Kim Jong Kook said "That's right. It feels like putting a period on an unsolved life homework. When a child is born there will be the practical clashes of parenting, but it's stable to always be in a situation where you think of only one person wherever you go."
It is known that Kim Jong Kook wants a daughter as his second generation. Yu Jae-seok clicked his tongue and said, "It won't be easy to be born as Kim Jong Kook's son. It will be really tight."
In response, Kim Jong Kook said, "(The child) hasn't come out yet, but I'm already sorry. Family education is important, so if it's a son (probably) he'd be dead. I'm sorry in advance. I apologize. I'm doing it all so things go well, so I hope there's no resentment," which drew laughter.
In a later released video, Kim Jong Kook was also shown explaining his nickname 'Kim Dokki' (Kim axe). Saying "I have an attachment to the local community," Kim Jong Kook explained the nickname 'Kim Dokki' by saying, "I didn't go around saying that. I heard the story from 'Knee's Guru' or something like that. If you say it like that, it could look like I carried an axe to school. I don't know if my eyes were axe-like and that's why it became 'axe.' It was a nickname that formed without me knowing."
He continued, "Even when I wandered, my home was so strict that I didn't cross a certain line. My nickname is Kim Dokki, but I attended every day through elementary, middle and high school for 12 years. Even if I left home I went to school, and I told a friend to bring my school uniform. School was fun and it was my playground," which made Yu Jae-seok reply, "You must have had fun," withholding further words and drawing laughter.
