"Love In Sync" star Kang Min-ah falls into extreme confusion and sorrow after manager Kim Myungsoo disappears without warning or a trace.
Today (25) at 10:50 p.m., the Lifetime weekend drama "Love In Sync" (written by Jung Yeon and Kim Seong-rae, directed by Kim Chil-bong) episode 7 depicts protagonist Yu Jian (played by Kang Min-ah) collapsing under deep loss due to Cha Eun-hwan's (played by Kim Myungsoo) sudden absence.
Earlier, Yu Jian had confided in Cha Eun-hwan about her painful past of being from an orphanage and the continued gaslighting by her biological mother Choi Jeong-mi (played by Son Ji-na), which had even ruined her idol activities. In response, Cha Eun-hwan said, "I will protect you," becoming a strong support, and with his full backing Yu Jian received high praise from her first shoot and fired the starting signal for a successful comeback. Just as their feelings for each other deepened, news of Cha Eun-hwan's shocking disappearance was reported.
In stills released ahead of today's premiere, Yu Jian appears to be suffering greatly because Cha Eun-hwan disappeared as if in a performance. As usual, she had prepared a bright smile to greet manager Cha Eun-hwan, but upon encountering an unexpected person waiting for her, her face instantly hardens. After learning that Cha Eun-hwan had completely vanished, Yu Jian goes directly to his sister Cha Song-hwan (played by Cha Min-ji) for a cold one-on-one meeting, but she is frustrated after finding no clues.
Unable to accept the separation that came without warning, Yu Jian finally sits down in front of Cha Eun-hwan's house and sobs uncontrollably. The more the happy memories she shared with him flash by, the more her tears do not stop, and Yu Jian's desperate cries spilling over the wall shake even Cha Song-hwan, who had strongly opposed the two's relationship. Cha Song-hwan, who had been cold to Yu Jian because of past incidents, shows a complex change of heart at seeing Yu Jian genuinely longing for her younger brother, heightening tension over which direction the three tangled narratives will take.
The production team noted, "Cha Eun-hwan decides with great difficulty to distance himself from Yu Jian to stop a love that keeps growing," and added, "Please check the broadcast to see where he went to soothe his troubled heart and whether Yu Jian's tears can turn Cha Song-hwan's heart."
Meanwhile, "Love In Sync" is a project led in production investment and global distribution by global media company A+E Korea, and distribution contracts have been completed in Japan and across Asia. U+tv Mobile (U+tv) and Disney+ will release it at 12:00 a.m. on the 26th.
