SM Entertainment (hereinafter SM) will hold a special offline running festival where its artists and fans run together in harmony.
SM said it will hold the running festival 'SMTOWN RUN CLUB 26 (SMTOWN Run Club 26)' on Oct. 3 around Wangsan Marina Port in Incheon.
This event was planned inspired by the so-called "SM London run" incident last July, when SHINee's Minho summoned a large number of SM senior and junior artists during the 'SMTOWN' London concert and ran together through central London. It has special meaning in that the friendly relationship-building among affiliated artists expanded into a large-scale offline sports festival that fans and the public can enjoy together.
The race will take place on Oct. 3, starting at Wangsan Marina Port at 10 a.m., following a 10 km course that turns around at Wangsan Bridge and returns. After the run, a colorful finale stage by SM artists will be prepared to bring participants' excitement to a peak, offering a thrilling experience that combines sports and K-pop.
Meanwhile, applications for 'SMTOWN RUN CLUB 26' will be accepted from Aug. 6 to 13 through the limited-edition trading platform KREAM.
