Group fromis_9 member Lee Chaeyoung insisted she is a non-smoker.
On the 23rd, the YouTube channel 'If you open your mouth' posted a video titled "Vote for your daughter-in-law." That day Lee Yongjin met with fromis_9's Chaeyoung and Nayoung and had a conversation.
The program became a topic of conversation for having a time to confront head-on the controversies they wanted to explain while wearing a lie detector.
Before wrapping up the talk, Lee Yongjin asked Chaeyoung, "Is there anything you want to reveal?" Then Chaeyoung, as if she had been waiting, said, "I am a non-smoker."

Lee Yongjin asked, "Then why did this controversy arise?" Chaeyoung replied, "I uploaded a photo and an e-cigarette appeared in it," and lamented, "It was really far from me. It was so pink that I didn't know it was an e-cigarette. Because I'm a non-smoker."

When the lie detector result judged Chaeyoung's statement to be true, Lee Yongjin teased, "It's funny that many people say, 'You seem like you'd smoke.' Isn't that like a sure sign of a smoker award?"
Chaeyoung emphasized, "Isn't it reasonable to be suspicious at least once? My voice is hoarse so they probably thought I would smoke," and drew attention by saying, "That really upset me. Delete the related search terms. I have never smoked in my life."
