The group CORTIS is set to present a special virtual performance for global fans ahead of its appearance at the major U.S. music festival Lollapalooza Chicago.
CORTIS is launching unique collaborative content with the popular game Music Festival Tycoon on the global immersive gaming·creation platform Roblox. Music Festival Tycoon is a game in which users directly recruit performers and design stages to host their own music festival, and CORTIS has achieved the milestone of being selected as the game's first official collaboration artist.
This collaboration was arranged in connection with the Lollapalooza Chicago stage taking place on Aug. 1 (local time). Live Nation, the global major concert promoter that operates Lollapalooza, and game tech company Livewire joined forces to introduce the Lollapalooza brand into the game, and CORTIS was chosen as the first participant.
Through this, global music fans can experience CORTIS's stage in virtual space ahead of the actual Lollapalooza opening. The game's festival main stage and mascot are perfectly implemented, and avatars that delicately reflect the five members' real appearances and characteristics are provided, drawing attention. In particular, users can enjoy virtual performances of CORTIS's hit songs "REDRED" and "GO!" and plan and enjoy the festival in a new way.
Meanwhile, having warmed up global fandom by moving between the virtual world and reality, CORTIS will begin a full-scale North American tour immediately after the Lollapalooza Chicago performance. Starting Aug. 4 in Toronto, Canada, they will continue the momentum of the global tour 2026 CORTIS TOUR IN NORTH AMERICA in major U.S. cities including New York, Atlanta, Irving, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
