The beauty and figure maintenance secrets of Amal Clooney (48), wife of Hollywood top actor George Clooney (65) and a world-renowned human rights lawyer, have been revealed. Her modest and simple routine, including enjoying seaweed soup for breakfast, draws attention.
The British media outlet Daily Mail on the 24th (local time) focused on Amal Clooney's healthy diet and exercise secrets as a working mom and human rights lawyer who is busier than ever.
According to the report, Amal Clooney's day surprisingly begins with a Korean-style diet. She is known to start her morning with a bowl of the traditional Korean dish seaweed soup, rich in sesame oil, garlic and seaweed.
Lunch is strictly composed of low-fat proteins. Since 2013, the Clooneys have employed personal chef Viviana Frizzi from Lake Como, Italy, to manage their diet. A reporter who once visited their home testified, "On the lunch table prepared by the chef were salads, spaghetti with turkey meatballs, and chicken breast topped with lemon sauce," saying it was a healthy and light meal.
Of course, she does not stick to a strict diet every day. Amal Clooney enjoys a cheat day through a "pizza night" with her family once a week. Her favorite menu is a margherita pizza served with arugula salad.
George Clooney also said in a past interview, "We are so bad at cooking that learning to cook from the chef is like teaching a whale to fly," and boasted about happy mealtimes with his wife, saying, "The chef's touch is so excellent that now we enjoy dinner at home every night with the twins. Friends prefer our home cooking to local restaurants."
Amal Clooney's perfectly toned figure stems from consistent exercise. She walks for an hour every day and combines 20 minutes of strength training with pilates.
Her favorite sport in particular is tennis. George Clooney said, "Amal is a really outstanding athlete. I won tennis tournaments in my youth and I still play well, but Amal completely beats me," expressing amazement at his wife's exceptional athletic ability.
Meanwhile, at a recent event in Bangkok, Amal Clooney candidly shared her feelings about the excessive public attention that followed her marriage to George Clooney in 2014. She confessed that after giving birth to the twins in 2017, the boundaries between her career and private life blurred, and at one point she became so conscious of public scrutiny that even what she wore in court mattered.
But Amal Clooney said, "In the end, if you do your job well, its true value will be revealed. I will not give up the important things in my life, family or relationships because of public scrutiny," and received great applause for showing her confident working-mom and capable lawyer persona.
