Broadcaster Choi Hwa-jung drew attention by saying she gave away luxury bags worth several million won for free and that she sold Samsung Electronics and SK hynix shares at their peak.
Recently, the YouTube channel 'Hello, this is Choi Hwa-jung' released a video titled "Why did Choi Hwa-jung thoroughly sort out the luxury items she diligently collected for 40 years? (+Seongsu-dong house cleaning)".
In the video, Choi Hwa-jung gave the luxury bags and household items she had collected for a long time to staff and designers for free. Especially, taking out a Fendi shoulder bag, she said, "Someone at a café looked so pretty carrying this bag with a white shirt that I bought it immediately. But I don't end up using it much."
When the production staff asked, "Wasn't it over 1 million won?" Choi Hwa-jung said, "I don't remember, but I bought it for more than 2 million won," surprising viewers.
