The group Stray Kids released a teaser video for the new album track "After You" and hinted at a sensuous cinematic mood.
The agency JYP Entertainment released the group's signature teasing content "UNVEIL : TRACK" on its official social media channels on the 23rd ahead of the release of Stray Kids' new mini album THIS & THAT at 1 p.m. on Aug. 7. Following the fourth track "FARMING," which was revealed on the 17th, the third track from the new record, "After You," was unveiled as the second offering.
The released video portrays the members in everyday settings such as a bus stop, busking street, pub, recording studio and swimming pool in an omnibus format. The members, who had been stuck in stagnant moments, awaken emotions through connections with someone or something and move toward their own "after," portraying that narrative with density. It renders relatable pieces of life with sensuous cinematography, drawing fans into deep immersion.
In particular, the nostalgic guitar riff and energetic sound combine in "After You," with the group's in-house producing team 3RACHA (Bang Chan·Changbin·Han) participating in the lyrics and composition to raise the musical completeness. The new record includes a total of eight tracks, with 3RACHA participating in all songs, including the title track "This & That," "After You," "RUN IT," "I Do" and "Way Out," offering a glimpse of Stray Kids' expanded musical spectrum that crosses genre boundaries.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids, who set a record by placing eight albums at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, will meet global fans with massive solo performances even before the album's release. They will kick off their new world tour Stray Kids World Tour at KSPO DOME in Songpa District, Seoul, over five days on July 25-26, 29 and Aug. 1-2. They are expected to continue their unstoppable box office run by becoming the first overseas male artist to hold solo shows at Tokyo National Stadium on Aug. 29 and 30.
