The 2.5M-tall sculpture, boasting an intense presence, reproduces Spider-Man's signature hand shape as he fires a web. It was created so fans can vividly experience the series' representative dynamic action in real life, the film said.
In particular, not only are the suit's distinctive patterns and details expressed precisely, but debris at the base is also rendered to enhance the sense of presence, critics say. The sculpture, unveiled about a week before release, is expected to further raise fans' anticipation by serving as a photo zone that feels as if it is alongside Spider-Man.
