"Legendary performer" Park Jin-Young and "summer queen" Sunmi deliver special enjoyment to global fans with performances of different charms through On the Spot.
Sunmi on the 16th released a performance video of her new digital single "Forever July" on 1theK's On the Spot. The new song "Forever July" adds soft instrumental sounds to a trendy UK garage beat to delicately portray humid summer air and a wavering heart.
In this video Sunmi captures attention with visuals like a midsummer fairy and original choreography using an umbrella. Every song she has released, including "Gashina" and "Siren," has created the epithet "Sunmi-pop" with unique concepts and performances, and this new song also presented a perfect stage in which music, visuals and performance are tightly connected, increasing immersion.
Meanwhile, today (23) at 6 p.m. JYP representative artist Park Jin-Young, who releases a new single, will appear on 1theK's On the Spot on the 27th to present a performance video of the new song "WET." This song is a summer song released six years after "When We Disco," which he collaborated on with Sunmi in 2020, and it was selected as the main theme song of Korea's representative summer festival "Waterbomb 2026." It features a sensuous reggae-tone sound matched to the summer season and an addictive rhythm.

1theK producer Jung Seok-hoon, who directed the Park Jin-Young episode of "On the Spot," said, "We considered spaces and direction that could most naturally show the free and energetic atmosphere of 'WET,'" and added, "We focused on bringing out the on-site vitality so Park Jin-Young's dynamic performance and groove, the paired choreography with the dancers and so on would stand out even more."
Meanwhile, 1theK original "On the Spot" is well-made performance content that steps away from standardized stages such as studios or sets and naturally showcases dance in everyday spaces.<
