Group Apink alum and actress Son Naeun described herself as attention-seeking and expressed satisfaction with her work as an actress.

That day Son Naeun said she has a compulsion to grow and "because I get dragged by the schedule I set, I wondered, 'Is this okay?' 'What am I doing this for?' and that once led to burnout," she confessed.

Son Naeun debuted in 2011 as a member of the girl group Apink, and after leaving the group in 2022 she has focused on acting. She added, "But it has gotten a lot better and now I try not to be like that. So I work harder, and that also leads to more development. I try to make the set feel comfortable by approaching first and smiling a lot, so I thought, 'This is doable,'" she said.
Later, while writing a personal statement, Son Naeun wrote that "a question I ask myself a lot these days" is "Am I doing well now?" She said, "Am I doing well and on the right path? Is this job right for me? I just have various thoughts."
She also said, "I think this job suits me. But sometimes I wonder, doesn't it? Is it not right for me? There are times like that," and Hajiyoung asked, "Why do you think it suits you?"
Son Naeun explained, "I like being the center of attention. I didn't know, but it seems I really like getting attention. Now that I'm doing more acting there are longer periods of rest. Because there are fewer opportunities to be exposed, fans become curious about me and I want them to know me and I want to show myself, so I wondered, 'Am I attention-seeking?'"
About things people don't know about Son Naeun, she said she is very lively. She said, "In the past (during my singer days) I was where the music was, and at some point (as an actress) I came to places without music. It's quiet, but if I hear any music my body reacts. So I've been going to concerts a lot," and said she would let loose then.
