Comedian Jeong I-rang confessed that she does not own a home in Seoul.
On the 23rd episode of the MBC variety program Where is My Home (hereinafter "Homes"), Im Hyeong-jun and Jeong I-rang appeared as guests and joined Kim Sook in searching for APT. in central Seoul priced in the 200 million won range.
That day Jeong I-rang, surprised to hear that they would inspect an APT. in the area inside Seodaemun priced in the 200 million won range, expressed excitement, saying, "I do not own a home in Seoul."
When Yang Se-chan asked if there was a reason she had not bought a home, Jeong I-rang replied, "I didn't want to buy and struggle to pay it off and be stressed, so I want to buy comfortably when I'm ready."
Kim Dae-ho responded, "Isn't there a first-time buyer benefit still available?" and Jeong I-rang joked, "Those kinds of things are well prepared," drawing laughter.
Later Kim Sook said she was surprised to hear that Jeong I-rang is a Seoul native who lived in Seoul for three generations. Jeong I-rang explained, "I attended elementary, middle and high school all in Seoul," and added, "I only attended university in Cheonan."
Upon hearing this, the comedian panelists added to the laughter with feelings of betrayal, saying, "But you hid that from us," and, "Were you pretending to be struggling to hang out with us?"
Meanwhile, Jeong I-rang's husband, Kim Hyung-keun, earlier said on a broadcast that he operates six restaurants, noting, "The scale is fairly large. Annual sales are about 4 to 5 billion won," which became a topic of conversation.
