Group KiiiKiii announced their full-fledged return by unveiling a bright and catchy comeback promotion schedule.
Starship Entertainment on the 22nd abruptly revealed the comeback scheduler for the third mini album WhyKiiiKiii through KiiiKiii's (Jiyu, Iseol, Sui, Ha-eum, Kiya) official social media channels.
This schedule image attracts attention with a distinctive concept in which the members themselves transform into a "human timetable." The members wrote teasing schedules directly on their palms and arms and struck a variety of poses, evoking past social media trends. In particular, outfits and props steeped in strong Y2K sensibility stimulated global fans' nostalgia and greatly raised anticipation for the new release. Added to this is the phrase "WhyKiiiKiii tour schedule, pack your bags. Your journey toward the answer begins now," which provokes curiosity.
According to the released schedule, KiiiKiii today (23rd) will present six videos in "A Day in WhyKiiiKiii" that capture the "WhyKiiiKiii" tour course unfolding over a day. On the 24th they will stoke comeback excitement by releasing the shrouded "Girls Duty Free" content. Then on the 26th and 27th and from the 29th to the 31st they will sequentially open concept content that offers a glimpse of the atmosphere of the six tracks on the new album. Following "WhyKiiiKiii medley" on Aug. 3, mysterious "Pop Off Pop Off" content is scheduled from the 5th to the 7th, heightening fans' curiosity.
The new release "WhyKiiiKiii," to be released Aug. 10, is an album that proves the answer to the question "why KiiiKiii" in the most KiiiKiii way. It will weave a single summer day's 24 hours into a sensuous tour course — from the air of a strange morning to midday heat, a sudden downpour, dancing under the sunset, and the lingering feeling that continues into dawn — and unfold KiiiKiii's unique worldview.
KiiiKiii's mini third album WhyKiiiKiii, which will demonstrate infinite possibilities through sharper performances and an expanded musical spectrum of diverse genres, will be officially released at 6 p.m. on Aug. 10 on various online music sites.
