Actor Ha Seok-jin gave an honest response regarding the rumor that he owns a home in Cheongdam-dong.
On the 23rd episode of KBS 2TV Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant, actor Ha Seok-jin's high-level cooking skills are revealed.
On that day the MCs asked Ha Seok-jin, "I heard a rumor that you are preparing to open a business," and Ha Seok-jin replied, "I play the role of a chef in a drama."
He introduced the drama in which he appears, saying, "I play a chef who, instead of inheriting the family business as a child born into a so-called wealthy family, opens a restaurant on his own without his parents' help."
He added, "The actual work is 'Love On The Menu' and it airs every weekend evening at 7 p.m."
Afterward the MCs drew attention by mentioning the Cheongdam-dong home ownership that had been revealed on past broadcasts, saying, "I understand your family home is actually wealthy."
Taken by surprise, Ha Seok-jin waved his hands and modestly replied, "I'm just a middle-aged man with a modest kitchen," drawing laughter.
