Actress Lee Jung Hyun took the wheel for the first time in seven years and embarked on nerve-wracking driving practice.
On the 23rd, KBS 2TV's Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant will air a segment showing Lee Jung Hyun attempting to drive again after a long time.
That day Lee Jung Hyun said, "I haven't driven since I had a baby. It's almost been seven years," and expressed confidence, saying, "I used to be good at driving."
But once she sat in the driver's seat she could not hide her nervousness. Relearning even how to start the engine, she joked, "Did I sign up for life insurance?" drawing laughter.
With her husband's help Lee Jung Hyun began driving in earnest, showing her nerves by saying, "It's my first time driving in seven years," and her husband, watching, also worried, saying, "I'm in the same situation as the novice driver beside me."
Prediction became reality. Lee Jung Hyun missed the U-turn section and drove straight onto an overpass, and eventually she had to go more than 20 minutes out of the way to return to her destination.
Frustrated, her husband advised, "You need to keep your lane properly," and Lee Jung Hyun snapped back, "I've been a driver with 20 years of no accidents," which provoked laughter.
