Actor Im Hyeong-jun said the end of the YouTube content "The Castle of Acting" is not far off.
On the 23rd episode of the MBC variety show Where is My Home (hereafter "Homes"), Im Hyeong-jun and Jung I-rang appeared as guests and joined Kim Sook in searching for APT.s in central Seoul in the 200 million won range.
That day Im Hyeong-jun mentioned the YouTube content "The Castle of Acting," which recently drew attention in a fake documentary format. It is known that Im Hyeong-jun planned it himself and even wrote the script.
When asked if there were any guests he would like to cast again for the content featuring actors Yoo Ji-tae, Ryu Seung-ryong, Lee Kyung-young and Park Jeongmin, Im Hyeong-jun answered, "We have done up to episode 16, but we decided to do only up to episode 20," which surprised people.
He explained, "I plan to expand the world a little more and try a sitcom," and Joo Woo-jae showed ambition, saying, "In sitcoms there's always a tall, silly character."
Im Hyeong-jun replied that he liked that very much, raising expectations. Later, when asked about comedians' moves into serious acting, Im Hyeong-jun said, "Most comedians act well, so everyone on set likes them," and added, "I hope they try it a lot."
He then confessed with a laugh, "I hope comedians do a wide variety of works so they all catch actor syndrome; if they abandon variety and switch to acting and leave openings in the variety scene, I want to take those spots."
